Kristen Chase is best-known as the author of the blog Motherhood Uncensored, which gained popularity as one of the few internet voices speaking frankly and humorously about the challenges of motherhood. She’s appeared on numerous top blogger lists, including the Babble Top 50 (2009 and 2010) and the Parents Magazine top 10 Power Moms online and her essays have appeared in several anthologies, including Sleep is for the Weak, Kirtsy Takes a Bow, and the political anthology Mothers of Intention.

Chase’s book “The Mominatrix’s Guide to Sex” based on her popular online column “The Mominatrix,” was released in January 2010 by Adams Media, and has been lauded by CNN, Parenting Magazine, Parenting & Newborn, Woman’s Day and Daily Candy among others.

She’s the Publisher and CEO of Cool Mom Tech and Cool Mom Picks, a grassroots review and shopping site that has grown to be arguably the most influential shopping and trendsetting blog for parents on the web with upwards of 350,000 monthly visitors, 150,000 twitter followers, and 20,000 Facebook fans. It was deemed “the online arbiter of cool for the swingset crowd” by Parents Magazine, lauded by Time Magazine, named one of Real Simple’s three favorite blogs for parents, and named one of the top 10 websites for families by the Telegraph UK.

Chase currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her four children and her husband.
